Dear Mom, Dad, + Sis,
Not so lucky the past few days, no mail. So by tomorrow I should have plenty of it. I hope.
What I could do with some of that spaghetti you had. We had some today but nothing like that I would say.
So Doris is going to have a ‘him’ – that is what Bill and Kay thought until it turned out to be a ‘her.’ They say you never can tell. I don’t know.
I sent my pictures off yesterday. I did not like them at all. There was also another but new crew picture with them. The dog is inky and what a dog he is.
Mom you do not have to be ashamed because you have not sent me any cookies. I know that if the stuff to make them with was easy to get I would have had a good share of them before this.
What an awful letter this is. Just rambling on with nothing to say.
I did not get the mixed nuts as yet but it should not be too long now.
There is nothing more I can say tonight so until I hear from you again.
Love
Walter
