Dear Sis,
Mind if I write you a short letter? I don’t think you will.
As I write I have a snapshot of you here in front of me, also the one of Mom and Dad. They are the ones Aunt Olive sent to me. And say, what a round face you have, also a very pretty one.
Looking at these picture makes me wish more than ever I could be at home with you all, but I don’t think it will be too much longer.
I am going to write John tonight and ask him if he can see me in London this time. How I hope he can make it. I have tried to find out where he is but no luck as yet.
Sis, Elenora Hogya works with you, don’t she. I think I mentioned that I heard from her. That is another one for me to answer.
As I said this was just a short letter and now I must stop.
Write when you can, keep smiling and don’t worry.
Love,
Walter
