Dear Mom, Dad, + Sis,
The mail man was rather good to me today, got four letters, one from you, Aunt Olive, also one from a girl named E Learnora Hogya. Know her? The forth and last was from a girl in London.
I think Lt. Lynch has a grand wife myself. I met her in Blythe and she was swell to all of us.
So Zip got a week vacation. Lucky fellow, say hello to him for me. It’s a wonder he would not write a guy once in a while.
I am glad to hear you are doing so well at work Dad. Lots of luck and keep going –
I have to go to work in a little while and wanted to send you a short letter before I went.
Oh yes, Aunt Olive sent me some pictures that you had taken in the yard at Easter time.
Well until tomorrow.
All my love,
Walter
PS Tell Eleanora I am not on a Fort but a Liberator. I am wondering if I should answer her letter after that.
